Actuvi Takes the CMS Health Tech Ecosystem Pledge
Actuvi has signed the CMS Health Tech Ecosystem pledge in three categories: Kill the Clipboard, Diabetes and Obesity Prevention and Management, and Friend of the Ecosystem. This puts us alongside Apple, Google, CVS Health, and over 60 other organizations working to fix how patient data moves in healthcare.
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services launched this initiative in July 2025 to create a patient-centric, interoperable healthcare system using specific technical standards like FHIR APIs, USCDI v3, and IAL2 digital identity credentials by early 2026.
Kill the Clipboard
Everyone hates filling out paper intake forms in the waiting room, where patients write their history on a clipboard for the hundredth time while staff transcribe it and providers work with incomplete data because something always gets missed.
Actuvi is simplifying this by letting patients share their medical records digitally with a simple QR code. They open the Actuvi mobile app, generate the code, and the front desk scans it so medical history, medications, allergies, and insurance information populate directly into the EHR. After the visit, providers can send a digital summary back to the patient in the same format.
Diabetes and Obesity Prevention and Management
Actuvi will connect directly to CMS Aligned Networks to access clinical data with patient consent. The platform will pull in data from lab reports, medications, diagnoses, and health trends from across the patient's care history to deliver reminders and risk alerts.
The platform tracks medication adherence, lab trends, and activity patterns to adapt based on what the patient actually needs. For pre-diabetic patients, Actuvi will deliver resources focused on prevention and help providers identify at-risk patients early. The platform will allow providers to see the full picture as it will pull data directly from the network.
Friend of the Ecosystem
Actuvi also signed as a Friend of the Ecosystem. We will work alongside other pledgees to provide support, feedback, and tech access that assists them in successfully delivering on their pledge.
Actuvi will continue working with governments, providers, and healthcare organizations to deliver the best in care for both patients and providers.
